Alchemical Abstractions: The Art of De’Joneiro Jones is a 15-piece show that highlights the artistic experimentation of the St. Louis-based artist. In multimedia abstract artworks, Jones frequently references travel through international currency, current societal issues, and Black history. This show includes works made this year inspired by Lois Conley, founder of The Griot Museum, and Alice Windom, a photographer, activist, and educator, considering their trips to the African continent.

Experience the colorful and complex works of mixed-media abstract artist De’ Joneiro Jones! The exhibition will run from August 31st- September 28th during regular museum hours.
